I've made this a couple of times before just as the recipe states, it was thumbs-up, even though the spices were OK but not fabulous. Tonight I made it and added .5 lb of turkey kielbasa and a poblano pepper, both were sitting around an needed to be used. I also used regular paprika instead of the smoked variety. Everybody liked it. Still very mildly spiced and a good foundation to do whatever you might want.
