I followed the recipe to the letter. The meat did not come out like traditional Gyro meat would come out, nor did it resemble the photo that accompanies the recipe. It was also very bland using the ingredients listed. I had to modify it with a blend of Greek spices I normally use in my cooking. This turned out more like a pot roast. I'll still be able to use the meat in some rice bowls, but it is NOT gyro meat!
