i doubled the recipe, so maybe i did some math wrong but the dough was really runny after i added all the milk. i added a lot of flour and put the dough in the fridge for half an hour which helped. but the end consistency of the scone was less crumbly and more doughy because the butter melted into the rest of the dough when it was too wet. still delicious though! i didn't need to double the recipe for the lemon glaze, it was enough for 16 scones.
