Yummy! This is so savory and different. A nice change of pace. I made the following changes:
- omitted porcini mushrooms and just used 1 1/2 cups vegetable broth in place of porcini broth. Might use a mushroom broth next time.
- used chicken broth instead of white wine
- used tomato sauce instead of crushed tomatoes
- used half & half instead of heavy cream
- used 2 tsp. rosemary instead of 2 Tbsp.
- coarsely chopped the mushrooms so my mushroom-hating husband wouldn't notice them as much. ;)
- used 12oz pasta instead of 1lb. The sauce turned out a little thin, so I might simmer it longer next time.
