After reading some of the other comments saying it was kind of bland, I tried this using 2 teaspoons paprika and I tsp Chili powder. Used 4 cloves garlic and 10 basil leaves. Also added 1 shallot to the zucchini while it was cooking. I added all spices towards the end of cooking prior to blending so the spices could cook and become more flavourful. Cooked the zucchini hot at first to brown, then lowered heat to soften. Also, used 4 fresh hothouse tomatoes instead of the canned tomatoes. Tastes great! Good recipe base that just needed a bit more spice.
