Black Bean Brownies

Really good. A high powered blender really makes the difference

Honestly, so easy and decent. I would not say this recipe is a brownie dupe; These will never be as fudgie as a butter and flour based dessert. However, I have made black bean brownies before, and this is the only recipe I would dare describe as chocolatey. More of a cake consistency than brownie, the crumb was larger. Would make it again.

No one guessed the secret ingredient and everyone liked the brownies. Will make this again!

Was extremely sweet, and chewy but not the same texture as normal chewy brownies. My toddler loved it though.

Came out so good! I didn't have chips but used m&M's These are great served warm with ice cream!

These were pretty good! I'd like to add a peanut butter swirl or some other variation. Took them to a family BBQ only my husband guessed they were black bean brownies but he has an excellent palette. Everybody liked them!

Substitute Barley flakes for oats

Swapped 50g of coconut sugar + 1/4cup of water for the liquid sweetener. Baked for 15min. Came out great!

With lowered expectations, these really aren’t that bad.

My mom tried them and said she could tell they weren't normal brownies. I think they're great! Fudgey and moist. I think I needed to blend mine a little more to get the texture right, but I'll definitely make them again. And as a bonus, my almost 3yo can help me make them and he loved them, too

This is amazing! My kids are experts at sniffing out my secret healthy option recipes and flatly rejecting them, but not this time. They loved them, and I did too. Don't tell anyone, but I omitted the chocolate chips (at my own risk) and they were still fab. Actually I made them with white beans, and used date syrup instead of maple, and I also used steel-cut oats instead of quick oats (all I had), which gave it a kind of inner crunch. I am guessing this is a really adaptable recipe.

Yummy! Have made this many times, tried to sub the oil for olive oil today and I have been blending the oats(Jungle oats) before adding to everything. It makes a smoother brownie. Worked even with the small changes I made

This is my 2nd time making these! They didn't last long last time. Even picky eaters can't tell these have hidden healthy stuff :)
