Favorite Chocolate Buttercream

delicous, added a little more cream because it was a little too stiff for my liking

I've used this recipe for years for brownies, cakes and cupcakes. Always a favorite and tastes very good and rich.

This one came out a little too thick and the chocolate flavor wasn’t what I was hoping for. The article with the recipe mentions a certain type, not brand, of chocolate powder to use, but I wasn’t sure how to find out if the chocolate powder I already had was the right type, it didn’t say anything on the package. Maybe that was why the chocolate flavor was a little off, but I was overall underwhelmed.
