Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2
Toss diced strawberries with sugar and water, then add to the bottom of a 9×13 cake pan
Step 3
Sprinkle cake mix evenly on top of the berries (do not mix!), then a layer of chocolate chips
Step 4
Place butter slices evenly across cake mix
Step 5
Bake for 35-40 minutes, until edges are bubbling
Step 6
Allow to cool completely before serving topped with ice cream or whipped cream
