Snickerdoodle Cookie Recipe

So many people told me these were the best snickerdoodle cookies they have ever had!! I accidentally melted the butter but the dough wasn't sticky. Will use this recipe from now on 😊

These were so good and made the house smell good too! I had to add about 1/4 or 1/3 cup (guessing as I kind of just eyeballed it) of flour because they were a bit runny. I'll definitely be making these again. I used a tablespoon measuring spoon for this size since I didn't have a cookie scoop. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

These tasted pretty good. I had to cook them twelve minutes so the centers would cook more. They did flatten out instead of staying fluffy but they were still good.

Had a weird aftertaste but it was really good

Really need to use cream of tartar otherwise they fall in on themselves

These were incredibly soft, really easy and fun to make and shape. I added some walnuts just cuz i think its a good combo with cinnamon. Also dont cut down on the sugar too much - I only added around 100g (300g seemed excessive) and they weren't sweet enough.

I’m not fancy enough to have a cookie scoop and I made them a little large so I had to bake them longer. Still turned out never looking like the picture, but good none the less

Very satisfying and very flavorful. We did end up adding cinnamon to the actual batter and the flavor with both the tartar and cinnamon was fantastic.

They turned out really nice - I baked them for 12minutes instead of the recommended time of 8minutes(they were still undercooked). Once baked I let them rest for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool. Only difficulty was scooping them onto the baking tray as the mixture was sticky. Overall great recipe and will definitely be making some more!!

SO good and fluffy 😍 the recipe on the website doesn't mention how large to make the dough balls (not within the actually recipe at least 🙄) so I had to cook them a bit longer, but I'm always one to make the cookies bigger than I'm supposed to hahaha

Delicious! Replaced the baking soda and cream of tartar with two tsp baking powder. Not one person knew the difference.

TIPS: *Cream of Tartar.  Many people debate whether it’s even a Snickerdoodle without the cream of tartar. It’s a key ingredient that transforms the cookies into a tangy, chewy cookie, differentiating it from a typical butter sugar cookie.

I'd definitely recommend adding more sugar but other than that they were easy and fun to make :)

Pay attention to when to use the cinnamon and how much. I messed up my first batch by not paying close enough attention.
