French Onion Smothered Pork Chops

This one is one I'll definitely make again! Yummy!!

I cooked the meat a lot longer than 6 minutes each side. I will make it again. I like it yum

I powdered the thyme for more coverage on the meat. Put it all in the oven covered for 20 minutes before adding the cheese. Needed more salt, but otherwise, pretty good. Kids thought it was basic tho, nothing special.

I made in an oven safe skillet so I didn’t have to dirty a 9x13

I made this slightly differently, by cooking the pork in the grill and the onion gravy seperately, I added rhw butter and onions in the pan, once softened, I added the garlic granules and thyme. Then the beef stock. I then whisked in some cornflour until thickened. Added this on top of the chops, with cheese on top and grilled until yummy!

Exemplary on top of a bed of mashed potatoes!

Not a fast meal, but worth the time! Would do over mashed potatoes next time instead if rice, but really enjoyed it!

Salty

This had great flavor. Instead of flour and beef broth for the sauce I used a cup of whipping cream and a teaspoon of beef bullion to make it gluten free. Yum! Would make again.
