Chocolate Baklava
This special and unique recipe for Choclate Baklawa, or baklava, uses chocolate and cocoa powder to flavor all of the baklawa elements: the clarified butter, the simple syrup, the nut filling. My simple pour-over method makes baklawa assembly much easier. Toasted nuts and cultured butter such as Plugra or Kerrygold make a big difference in the flavor and texture of baklawa. Plus, cultured butter clarifies much more easily than regular butter. See how here.
