1 cupcaster sugar

1 Β½ tspvanilla extract
ΒΌ tspalmond extract

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180Β°C. Line a 8-inch baking pan with baking paper and set aside.
Step 2
Using a stand mixer fixed with the paddle attachment, beat the butter and sugar together until just combined.
Step 3
Add in the egg, milk, vanilla extract and almond extract and beat to combine.
Step 4
Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add in the salt and all-purpose flour. Mix until just combined.
Step 5
Transfer the cookie dough to your prepared pan, spreading all the way to the edges and smoothing out the top. Bake the bars for 20-30mins, or until the edges are golden brown.

Step 6
In a stand mixer beat the room temperature butter and cream cheese well.
Step 7
Add in the icing sugar, milk, vanilla extract and salt. Beat until light and fluffy, about 3mins.
Step 8
Once the cookie bars are cooled, spread the frosting in an even layer over the cooled cookie bars. Dust with a layer of your favourite sprinkles and cut into 16 squares. Enjoy!
