Instructions
Step 1
Get a rolling pin and flatten out the bread . Push down and flatten the crusts ( some people cut them off but they are so crunchy I keep them on ) once the bread is flattened beat an egg then brush egg was on one half of the bread . This will be used to seal and close the bread later like an envelope
Step 2
Spread one tablespoon of tomatoes sauce a slice of cheese and some sliced salami on each half then tear some basil and put it on top. Seal the bread by pinching the corners closed then brush the top and bottom with egg wash
Step 3
Place the bread in a little oil on a frying pan on medium heat then fry about three minutes each side or until golden and serve immediately! Enjoy
