Instructions

Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract, lemon zest, and lemon juice.

Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry mixture. Mix until just combined.

Gently fold in the fresh blueberries.

Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each liner about 2/3 full.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
Step 9
While the muffins are cooling, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
Step 10
Once the muffins are completely cooled, drizzle the glaze on top.
