XO Shrimp Stirfry
1 step
Prep:5minCook:30min
This is my go-to combo of flavours for when I'm craving an Asian dish that is quick and easy. XO Sauce pairs especially well with seafood like shrimp, but normally I make this with chicken which is budget friendlier 😉. Personally I love to cook with ingredients that are high in nutrients, while at the same time don't need a lot of prep. Sometimes I even use garlic powder instead of fresh garlic, to cut down my cooking time. Honestly the idea behind this meal is to make something as delicious and quick as take-out, while still getting my fix of wholesome veggies. I love it and it's easy to change up a bit. For example, sometimes I'll add peanut butter or switch it up with coconut milk and ginger.

Step 1
This is a stirfry, which means it's really as simple as stirring and frying all the ingredients together. The brand of noodles that I use is basically instant. I heat it up for about 3 minutes in hot water and then add it to the dish at the end. I love to finish off with a dash of sesame oil, Lao Gan Ma, cilantro, spring onion and crushed peanuts.
