Instructions

Step 1
Slowly roast tomatoes and garlic cloves on a pan. Turning them over to avoid burning the garlic, but enough to roast the tomatoes entirley. You can add a splash of water to avoid them sticking on the pan.
Step 2
Once the tomatoes are almost fully cooked, they will start to have a paste shape form. Add the chipotle adobo, paprika and a little bit of water to stop the roasting. Optional to add mexican buillon (Knorr). Let that cook for around 10 minutes to let flavours soak the paste.
Step 3
While the paste is cooking, In a pot, add 3/4 liters of water with enough salt and garlic powder. Let that heat up and add lentils to star cooking
Step 4
Once the paste has cooked, trasfer to the pot where lentils are boling. Finely chop the onion and incorporate to the pot.
Step 5
Let lentils simmer in medium heat until lentils are fully cooked. Add salt to taste.
