Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

A highly requested dessert at most parties. Pictured is a double batch in a cake pan instead of separate pies. The recipe is for one single pie Sometimes we add peanut butter chips and mini chocolate chips between layers or on top. Pictures we chopped Reese’s cups and drizzled chocolate sauce. You can also make the peanut butter pie by itself by taking out the steps for the pudding.

Instructions

For Peanut Butter Filling

Step 1
Use an electric mixer to combine cool whip, powdered sugar, peanut butter, softened cream cheese until completely combined

Pour peanut butter mixture into crust

For chocolate filling

Step 3
Make instant pudding as directed in box You could also use cook and serve pudding as directed on box

Pour over peanut butter pie filling in crust

Toppings

Step 5
Allow pudding to chill and set according to box
Step 6
Top with cool whip Add additional toppings as desired
Step 7
Store in refrigerator
