Instructions
Step 1
Cook pasta as per packaging instructions. Drain, and reserve some pasta water for loosening the sauce later if required. Set pasta aside.
Step 2
In a pan, melt butter on low heat and add garlic. Sauté for a few seconds, not letting the garlic brown up.
Step 3
Add flour little by little, stirring as you go along so it does not clump up.
Step 4
Add milk and let the sauce thicken, stirring continuously. If sauce becomes too thick, add some pasta water.
Step 5
Take the pan off the heat. Stir in sour cream and mix into the sauce with a spoon. Add cooked pasta, olive oil and chives and mix to coat with the sauce.
Step 6
Top with more chives and serve.
