Step 1
Begin by washing and finely slicing 3 white peaches.

In a bowl, mix together the eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla extract.

Next, add the sugar, sifted flour, and baking powder to the mixture. Set aside.

In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the caramel. Cook for a few minutes, adding a pinch of fleur de sel towards the end of cooking.

Pour the caramel into the bottom of a round cake pan.

Arrange the peach slices in a rosette pattern on top of the caramel.

Pour the prepared batter over the peaches.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for approximately 25 minutes. The cake should be golden and you can test its doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean.

Allow the cake to cool until the bottom of the pan is warm to the touch. Gently tap the pan and carefully lift the cake off the pan.
