Instructions

Step 1
Combine 1 cup water and honey in a small saucepan. Place over medium-low heat and stir until dissolved. Remove from heat and set aside, allow to cool for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Pour fresh-squeezed lemon juice into a pitcher. Add honey/water mixture (simple syrup).
Step 3
Add remaining 3 3/4 cups water and stir well. Pour over ice and serve, or transfer to refrigerator and allow to chill several hours before serving.
