Instructions

Step 1
In a pan over medium heat add the beef and onion. Once the meat is cooked through, drain any grease.
Step 2
Add in the garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in the brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper until the meat is evenly coated.
Step 3
Stir in the beef broth, macaroni, diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and tomato sauce.
Step 4
Switch the heat to low, cover, and cook for 13-14 minutes.
Step 5
Stir in the shredded cheese and cook until melted.
