Spinach patty
100gspinach
½ tspsalt
½ tsppepper
1egg
100ggrated emmental cheese
2 Tbspflour
4 Tbspbreadcrumbs
100mlsunflower oil
2slices Emmental cheese
50gpanko
Burger
Instructions
Spinach patty
Step 1
Chop the spinach.
Step 2
Add all the ingredients except for the cheese slices, panko and oil to a bowl and mix well. Depending on the size of the egg you may have to add more breadcrumbs.
Step 3
Form the dough into 2 equal balls. The balls then press flat with your hands and shape into patties.
Step 4
Coat the Pattie’s with the panko. Make sure they are covered completely.
Step 5
Heat the oil in the pan. Leave the heat on medium high. Add the patties and fry for about 2min until golden brown.
Step 6
Flip the patties and place a cheese slice on each of them. Fry for another 2min.
Burger
Step 7
Cut the burger buns in half and toast until golden brown.
Step 8
Slice the tomato and iceberg salad.
Step 9
Spread the bottom burger bun half with the mayonnaise.
Step 10
Then top it with the salad, tomatoes and spinach patty.
