Instructions

Step 1
Add bread to a bowl then wet both slices with a little water and set aside

Add a mix of ground beef and pork to a bowl ( you can also just use ground beef or ground pork if that’s all you have but I prefer the mix to be very traditional ) add a finely diced onion two eggs then squeeze out excess moisture from the bread and add that season with salt and pepper and mix all thoroughly to combine

Step 3
Take handfuls of the mixture then cup between both hands loosely and keep mocking until they take shape . I suggest doing this to keep them nice and light and fluffy . Once done add to a pan on medium heat and cook 5 minutes to get a nice color on the bottom
Step 4
Cover with a lid and cook 5 more minutes then when the top looks cooked through flip and keep the lid off to get more color on the other side . Garnish with any herbs and sides you like and enjoy
