Instructions

Step 1
Prepare the Bread:
Step 2
Take each slice of bread and remove the crust. You can do this by cutting off the edges with a knife.
Step 3
Flatten the Bread:
Step 4
Use a rolling pin or the flat side of a glass to gently flatten each slice of bread. This will make it easier to roll up.
Step 5
Add Cheese:
Step 6
Place one slice of cheese on each flattened slice of bread.
Step 7
Roll Up the Grilled Cheese:
Step 8
Carefully roll up each slice of bread with the cheese inside. Make sure the cheese is snugly tucked in.
Step 9
Butter the Roll-Ups:
Step 10
In a non-stick skillet or frying pan, melt a small amount of butter over medium heat.
Step 11
Cook the Roll-Ups:
Step 12
Place the roll-up seam side down in the skillet.
Step 13
Cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Step 14
You can use a spatula to gently press them down while cooking to help seal the seams.
Step 15
Serve:
Step 16
Once the roll-ups are crispy and the cheese is melted, remove them from the skillet.
Step 17
Let them cool for a minute or two, then cut them into bite-sized pieces, or leave them as whole roll-ups for kids to dip.
Step 18
Optional Dip:
Step 19
You can serve these Grilled Cheese Roll-Ups with ketchup, marinara sauce, or ranch dressing for dipping. Kids usually love to dip their food!
