Fast & Easy Spaghetti Meat Sauce

This fast and easy recipe for spaghetti with meat sauce is ready in less than an hour. The beef base and tomato paste added to the sauce makes this sauce taste like it has been simmering in a pot for hours! Just cook your noodles according to the package directions and you're all set.

Instructions

Step 1
Remove the stewed tomatoes from the can and coarsely chop into half-inch pieces.
Step 2
Combine ground beef, onions, mushrooms, salt and pepper in a large skillet and cook over medium heat until ground beef is browned.
Step 3
Drain the fat from the skillet before proceeding to next step.
Step 4
Move ground beef mixture in the skillet so there is a clear area in the pan to place the garlic and tomato paste.
Step 5
Add the garlic and tomato paste to the cleared area in the pan and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 6
Add the chopped stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, thyme, sugar, and beef base to the pan. Stir well.
Step 7
Cover the pan and simmer for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to come together.
Step 8
Uncover and simmer until desired consistency, usually another 10 minutes. Serve over spaghetti noodles and garnish with parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
