Ingredients

CRUST
1 ½ cupsall-purpose flour
¾ cupsugar
2 teaspoonbaking powder
½ teaspoonsalt
⅛ teaspoonnutmeg
¼ cupbutter
cold, cut into small pieces
½ cupwhole milk
1egg
3 canspeaches
drained and rough dice
¼ cupsugar
1 teaspooncinnamon

Instructions
CRUST
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400˚F. NOTE: when draining peaches don't drain them dry. Keep a little of the juice with the peaches as it will help keep the bottom moist and add some good flavor as well. I use peaches in 100% juice not heavy syrup.
Step 2
Combine flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl and stir well with a whisk.
Step 3
Add the cold butter pieces and incorporate to blend well until it becomes fine crumbs.
Step 4
In a small mixing bowl, whisk milk and egg well. Pour the milk mixture over the flour mixture. Mix with a fork just until it becomes wet.
Step 5
Line bottom of 12-inch spring form pan with parchment paper then grease sides, spread the batter on the bottom of the pan.
Step 6
Arrange the diced peach on top.
Step 7
Mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over the peaches.
Step 8
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
CUSTARD
Step 9
Meanwhile, in a small mixing bowl, combine 1/4 cups of heavy cream with flour and whisk together to get rid of big lumps.
Step 10
Add the rest of the cream, sour cream, cream cheese, sugar, nutmeg, eggs, vanilla, and salt. whisk well to mix.
Step 11
Take the cake out of the oven and pour the cream mixture on top.
Step 12
Lightly dust the top of the cake with cinnamon.
Step 13
Put the cake back in the oven and reduce the heat to 350˚F. Continue to bake for 35-40 minutes.
Step 14
When the cake top is puffed, and the edges are deep golden and starting to separate from the pan, the cake is done.
Step 15
Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then remove it from the pan and let it cool completely.
