Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwich -

Instructions

Step 1
Lay out the slices of bread on a clean surface. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
Step 2
Place a slice of Swiss cheese on two of the bread slices. Add a slice of ham on top of the Swiss cheese. Layer tomato slices on top of the ham. Place the remaining slices of Swiss cheese on top of the tomato slices.
Step 3
Take the other slice of bread and place it on top of the cheese, creating a sandwich.
Step 4
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Step 5
Carefully place the sandwich onto the heated skillet or griddle. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, and the ham is heated through.
Step 6
Once both sides are golden brown and the cheese is melted, remove the sandwich from the heat.
Step 7
Allow the sandwich to cool for a minute or two, then slice it in half diagonally if you prefer.

Serve your grilled ham, Swiss cheese, and tomato sandwich while it’s hot. Enjoy!
