Instructions
Step 1
Make the dough by combining the flour and salt at first, then adding the hot water and cold water slowly in. Knead until a ball forms and let it rest for 30 minutes
Step 2
While the dough is resting, heat some of the oil and combine some flour, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Add the oil to the bowl and create a slurry. At the same time chop all the scallions.
Step 3
Divide the dough into smaller bowls (about 6 or 8) and spread some oil on them, covering with cling film and letting them rest for another 15 minutes.
Step 4
Spread the dough pieces out until as thin as possible. Brush the slurry and spread the chopped onion on it. Now roll it on itself and once a cylinder is formed, roll it into a spiral 🌀
Step 5
Finally press it down and, with a rolling pin, spread it out thin once more. In a really hot pan add the sunflower oil and cook on both sides. Enjoy!
