I first made these sugar cookie bars around Christmas time and wow I’m so glad I did. They have the perfect soft texture. You would never guess these are vegan, gluten-free, and grain-free. They are made with such simple ingredients; this recipe has definitely become a staple in my house. I love making these for any holiday or festivity by changing out the sprinkles.

Instructions

Step 1
Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a mixing bowl add in the applesauce and maple syrup.

Stir till combined.

Add in the almond flour and baking powder.

Stir until the dough forms.

Press down into a 9x5 baking pan.

Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Step 8
Once completely cooled add your frosting and sprinkles.
Step 9
Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
