Instructions

Step 1
In a medium pot or deep pan add olive oil, chilli pepper and garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute.
Step 2
Add potatoes and stir to combine. Add water, rapini and salt, stir, then let simmer for 20 minutes, or until potatoes are soft and water is reduced by half.
Step 3
Smash 1/4 do the potatoes, add lemon zest, and stir. Let rest for about 10 to 20 minutes off heat.
Step 4
Stir in basil and lemon juice. Serve immediately, with crostinied Italian or calabrese bread.
