Sugar Free Syrup Cookies

These cookies are similar to my granulated monk fruit cookies, as they're customizable and sugar free. Instead of a granular sweetener though, these use a liquid zero calorie sweetener, so that way you can make them with whatever sweet device you have on hand. Feel free to mix up the flours (whole wheat, almond oat flour, etc.) or the mix-ins (chocolate chips, chopped nuts, raisins, etc.). Check out the link below for my monk fruit variation:

Ingredients

Base
¼ cupsugar free syrup
or maple syrup
¼ cupunsweetened applesauce
5gvanilla extract
¼ tspbaking soda
¼ tspsalt
optional, omit if using PB2
Chocolate Chip
1 cupwhole wheat flour
optional
¼ cupunsweetened chocolate
or monk fruit chocolate bar or chips, optional
Oatmeal Raisin
Peanut Chocolate
Almond
Coconut Macaroon
Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, mix together the base ingredients
sugar free syrup¼ cup
unsweetened applesauce¼ cup
vanilla extract5g
baking soda¼ tsp
salt¼ tsp
Step 2
Choose your flavor. Here, the flour is a mix of PB2 and oat flour, with some dark chocolate chips folded in. Let the dough chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to an hour to harden

unsweetened chocolate¼ cup
Step 3
Line a cookie sheet with parchment and preheat your oven to 350F. Scoop dough onto the sheet, and flatten into a cookie (they won't flatten or spread as they bake)
Step 4
Bake in your preheat oven for about 8 minutes
Step 5
Let the cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooking rack
