Ingredients
8 servings
2 x 8 ozrefrigerated Crescent Dough Sheet
cans
1 lbdeli ham
thinly, sliced
20 slicesSwiss cheese
3 Tbsphoney mustard dressing
Glaze
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Step 2
Unroll each can of crescent dough. Roll each one out into about a 13 x 9 rectangle. Spread honey mustard dressing evenly over each dough leaving 1/2 inch clean on a long side for sealing.
Step 3
Top the dressing with half of the cheese slices on both sheets. Place the ham slices over the cheese, folding the ham in half as you go. Place the remaining cheese slices over the ham on both sheets. Still leaving the 1/2 inch exposed for sealing.
Step 4
On the opposite side of the long clean edge, start rolling up the dough with the contents inside. Roll as tightly as possible. Pinch the ends closed and rest it with the clean edge down.
Step 5
Wrap each log in plastic wrap and place in the fridge or freezer for up to 20 minutes. Then remove and cut each log into 8 pieces with a serrated knife. Place slices cut side down in the prepared baking dish.
Step 6
In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add dijon mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and parsley flakes to the melted butter. Cook over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved. Spoon or brush the glaze over the rolls.
Step 7
Bake uncovered for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Notes
Step 8
You can substitute Puff pastry dough, french bread dough, or pizza dough.
Step 9
You can also use any cheese you like, sliced or shredded. But you will need about 16 oz.
