0.5 lbpasta
you can use fettuccini noodles or Fusilli di Gragnano
3 Tbspsalted butter
2garlic cloves

¼ cupwhite wine
should be a dry wine like chardonnay or Sauvignon blanc, not a sweet wine
1 cupheavy cream
1lemon
Juice trom, large
¼ teaspoongarlic powder
½ tspred pepper flakes
salt

Instructions
Step 1
Salt your water heavily (so that you don’t have to salt your pasta sauce as much). Once water is boiling, cook your pasta according to the package instructions.
Step 2
While the pasta is cooking, add your butter to a pan on medium heat. Once melted, add your garlic and let simmer for 2-3 mins. Then, turn up the heat a bit, add in your wine, and let cook for 2-3 more minutes. It will reduce to a great sauce and the alcohol will burn off, leaving just the flavor.
Step 3
Add in the heavy cream and lemon juice. If it doesn’t thicken, add in some extra Parmesan to thicken.
Step 4
Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
Step 5
Continue to whisk for about 8 minutes on medium heat, until the pasta is done. Once pasta is done, add 1/4 cup of pasta water. This helps the sauce bind together well.
Step 6
Add the pasta noodles to the sauce and mix.
Step 7
Serve and top with Parmesan and parsley. Enjoy!
