Healthier Twix Slice ✨

1 1/2 cups almond meal / almond flour 1/4 cup coconut oil 1/4 cup maple syrup 1 cup smooth peanut butter 2 tbsp melted coconut oil 1/2 cup coconut cream 1/4 cup maple syrup 1 tsp vanilla essence 120g dark chocolate 1 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

Step 1
Add the almond meal, coconut oil and maple syrup to a bowl and mix to combine.
Step 2
Tip into a lined slice tin and press firmly together. Place in the fridge while you make the filling.
Step 3
In a saucepan mix together all of the ingredients on medium heat, whisking and string while the mixture heats. Once combined remove from heat and tip over the base layer. Place in the freezer to set for an hour.
Step 4
Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together and pour over the middle layer, spreading evenly. Place in the fridge to set again for another hour.
Step 5
Sprinkle the top with sea salt and cut into slices (heat a knife with boiling water to cut slice so the chocolate doesn’t crack)
