Paprika, Honey and Soy Chicken Breasts

Instructions

Step 1
Slice diagonal lines into chicken breasts, about 1cm apart, not cutting all the way through.
Step 2
Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, thyme, paprika and olive oil. Rub into chicken breast.
Step 3
Rub the same herbs, spices and olive oil mix to the underside of the chicken breast
Step 4
Fry chicken breasts in a little oil until browned on both sides
Step 5
Remove chicken from pan
Step 6
Fry onions and garlic in olive oil for 2 mins. Add mustard, soy sauce, beer and honey. Boil for 1 min until reduced.
Step 7
Add chicken breasts, cover with lid and continue cooking for 15 mins, spooning sauce over chicken. Sprinkle with chopped chives.
Step 8
Serve with rice
