One Pot Spinach Sausage Pasta ⬇️

One Pot Spinach Sausage Pasta ⬇️ This year, ditch the mentality that you have to give up the foods you love to lose weight. Instead, take on the mindset that all foods in balance are not only going to be HOW you lose your weight, but how you KEEP your weight off. This easy one pot dinner is an incredible start, and I’ve given you some subs in the ingredients so that you can customize it for your needs! Here’s what you need for about 4 portions ✨ 6 oz. italian sausage (you can also use beyond sausage, lean beef, or ground chicken) 6 oz. hot sausage 5 garlic cloves (minced) 1 cup half/half (milk and plant-based cream are also great options) 1 1/4 chicken broth (reduced sodium) 16 oz. marinara (I used Rao’s) 1.5 cups rigatoni (about 6 oz, uncooked) 5 oz. spinach (fresh) 1 tsp Italian seasoning 1/2 tsp dried basil salt (big pinch) pepper (pinch) What you’ll do ⬇️ - Heat a medium pot over medium heat. Skip the oil. Add sausage, break really well. Let cook undisturbed for 2-3 minutes, mix, and let cook another 2-3 minutes. Use a napkin to absorbed extra fat (or you can drain). - Add garlic, sauté 30 seconds, add half/half, broth, rigatoni, and marinara. Mix well. Cover, and let cook 10 minutes, stirring every few minutes while scrapping the bottom. - Once noodles are cooked, add spinach, cover for a minute so that it wilts a little, then turn off the heat, and mix in. - Top with a little fresh parm and enjoy!

(~508 cal per portion, about 1.5 cups) Will you try this?!
