Step 1
Heat a large skillet and add the oil to it. Add the brats and brown lightly. Add the beer and BBQ sauce. Bring the beer/sauce mixture to a simmer. Turn the brats every minute or two, but don't ever walk away from the stove. Keep turning the brats as the beer/sauce reduces to a thick glaze. Once it's reduced, remove the pan from the heat. Preheat your grill to high and put the brats on the grill and mark them well, brushing the brats with the glaze in the pan.
