2 Tbspbrown sugar
For Coating
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees for 5 minutes
Step 2
Mash the banana into a smooth puree to make sure you get 1/2 cup or the donut batter won't come together with the same ratio of flour.
banana½ cup
Step 3
Add in the flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt, and brown sugar. Stir with a rubber spatula at first, until it starts to form lumps.
flour1 cup
baking powder2 tsp
vanilla extract1 tsp
cinnamon1 tsp
saltâ…› tsp
brown sugar2 Tbsp
Step 4
Then oil your hands and knead with your slightly oiled hands to form a dough ball. The dough is sticky and moist, but that's normal don't over-add flour!
Step 5
Once the dough ball is formed, grease your hands again, grab about a tablespoon of dough, roll it into a ball, and place it on a plate covered with parchment paper.
Step 6
Repeat Step 5 until all the dough has been turned into balls. Spray avocado oil on top of the balls.
Step 7
Air fry for 6-7 minutes, making sure to leave about 1 inch of space between each ball, as they will expand. They should look puffy and golden brown. They will have a rocky shape and be dry outside, and some will not be as round as balls; that's normal!
Step 8
To make these banana bread balls taste like donuts, brush each warm ball with melted butter using a pastry brush. Then, roll the warm, buttered balls into cinnamon sugar to coat evenly.

Step 9
Serve warm immediately and enjoy!
