Step 1
Melt butter in nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add shallot and salt cooking until softened, about 2 minutes. Add Brussel sprouts, broth, and pepper and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook until almost tender, 7-10 minutes.
Step 2
Uncover and continue cooking until sprouts are tender and braising liquid is slightly thickened, 3-5 minutes.
