Step 1
Cut your lemons in half lengthways, scoop out the central part of the fruit and squeeze out the juice with the help of a spoon. Alternatively you can mix everything with a blender. Filter the juice with a sieve and set aside.
Step 2
In a pot over medium low heat, add milk and bring to a boil.
Step 3
In a bowl whisk sugar with cornstarch, lemon zest, egg yolks and lemon juice then add the mixture to the boiling milk and whisk for about 4-5 minutes or until the cream thickens.
Step 4
Transfer your lemon cream into your lemon halves and rest in the fridge for a couple of hours.
Step 5
Sprinkle 2 teaspoons of sugar on top of each lemon and burn it with the help of a torch. Buon appetito!
