Instructions
Step 1
Divide your 500g of mince into four equal amounts. Roll each amount into a ball, then using your hand flatten it to the plate. Place the flattened mince into the fridge to firm the patties for 30mins
Step 2
Preheat your air fryer to 180. The burgers can be grilled, fried or cooked in the oven depending on your preference. Take your patties and place them in the heated air fryer at 180 for 12 mins. After four minutes, season them with salt, pepper and whatever else you like. After 8 minutes, flip the burger in the air fryer.
Step 3
Preheat your oven to its lowest setting.
Step 4
Whilst your burgers are cooking, lay your strips of bacon out and brush one side with the honey. Place bacon in the grill and grill on high heat until the edges start to crisp (roughly 4-6 minutes) then turn the heat down to low, flip the bacon and continue cooking until the burgers are ready.

Step 5
Now that your burgers and your bacon is cooking. Toast your brioche buns. This can be done under a grill if you have space. If not then a toaster will do, but can leave your buns squashed. Grill/toast the buns until they're golden but not burnt.
Step 6
If you've timed everything right, your buns should be ready just a minute or so before your burgers and bacon. So take this moment to lay out your buns, placing a blob of jack Daniels sauce on the crown, followed by a slice of Monterrey Jack cheese. Once the bacon is ready, place your two slices on the cheese, followed by your burger patty, followed by the heel. Flip the burger over and give it a gentle squash to make sure it holds form.
Step 7
This last step is what truly brings the burger together. Wrap the burger in tinfoil and place it in the bottom shelf of your pre-heated oven for 5 - 10 minutes. Once the foil is hot to touch, you know it's ready! This allows all the juices to flow into each other and also means your cheese will melt gently.
Step 8
That is all, enjoy!
