Instructions
Boil the eggs:
Step 1
Bring a pot of water to a boil.
Step 2
Carefully lower the eggs into the boiling water and cook for 6-7 minutes for a soft-boiled consistency.
Step 3
Immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process and make them easier to peel.
Make the marinade:
Step 4
In a mason jar (or container of your choice), combine the soy sauce, water, sweetener of your choice, sesame oil, sesame seeds, minced garlic, chopped green onion, and diced jalapenos. Stir until well combined.
Marinate the eggs:
Step 5
Fully submerge your peeled eggs into the marinade.
Step 6
Seal the container and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, but preferably overnight. The longer the eggs marinate, the more flavorful they will be.
Step 7
Enjoy! These can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
