Heat the oven to 180 fan forced. Lay the bacon on a baking tray and cook in the oven for 8 mins, then turn and cook for another 8-10 mins

Meanwhile, put the beans into a microwaveable dish

To make the fried bread, heat 1 tbsp canola oil in a large frying pan. Add the bread and fry until golden, turning regularly. Remove and set aside. If space in the frying pan allows, carry out step 4 while the bread is frying.

If necessary, add more canola oil to the frying pan and add the black pudding slices. Using a slotted heat-safe spatula, turn regularly until each side is crisp.

Meanwhile, put the mushrooms in a separate pan and cook until golden. While the black pudding and mushrooms are cooking, gently crack in the eggs, keeping the yolk intact. If the oil is too hot, it will spit, so be careful! Use a wooden spoon or heat-safe ladle to scoop the oil over the eggs as they cook. The yolk should turn a milky colour.

Once the bacon is cooked, put the beans in the microwave for about 3 mins or until the temperature is to taste

Serve all immediately on a plate with tomato or BBQ sauce

Crack the eggs into a large bowl and whisk. Soak the bread in the eggy mixture and fry as step 3 above.
