4 cupsflour
extra for dusting
1 ½ cupwater

2 tspactive dry yeast
1 tspsalt
4 Tbspoil

Instructions
Step 1
Mix together 1 cup of flour (125g), 1.5 cup (350ml) warm water, 1 tbsp sugar, 2 tsp active dry yeast. Cover and set aside for 20 mins

Step 2
Mix in the the rest of the flour 3 cups (350g), 1 tsp salt (6g), 4 tbsp oil. Combine and mix for 8 mins until smooth.

Cover and leave to rise for 20 mins

After 20 mins rise grease your hand with oil and fold the dough (watch the video instruction). Cover and let it rise for another 20 mins. Repeat the process a few times.

Dust the counter surface, divide the dough into 2 parts. Shape into the balls, then roll and make a baguette shape (watch the video instruction)

Put onto a tray, cover and leave for double in size for an hour

Beat 1 egg york, 1 tbsp milk. Cover the loaves.

Score the bread. Bake for 25-35 mins at 356°F (180°C).
