Step 1
Combine flour and pepper in a large Ziploc bag. Add diced chicken and shake to coat with mixture. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown chicken about 2 minutes on each side. Place chicken in a slow cooker. Combine soy sauce, vinegar/lemon juice, tomato sauce, sugar, garlic, ginger, and pepper flakes in a small bowl and pour over chicken. Cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours. Add cashews and stir or serve on the side. Garnish with green onion. Serve with your favourite greens over rice.
