Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli

Instructions
Step 1
1. Cut your Chuck roast into thin strips, and remove any excess fat. Add to the bottom of your slow cooker.
Step 2
2. In a bowl, whisk together your beef broth, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and crushed red pepper. Pour over top of your beef.
Step 3
3. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours. Do not over cook, your beef will shred.

4. At 5 hours, remove ¼ cup of your broth, and whisk in your corn starch. Pour your slurry back into your slow cooker and stir together. Cover, and cook for the remaining hour.
Step 5
5. In the last 30 minutes, add your broccoli.
Step 6
I used fresh broccoli, but frozen will work as well. Stir together and cook for another 30 minutes.
Step 7
6. Serve with your choice of rice.

7. To add a little razzle dazzle, sprinkle a little sesame seeds on top for garnish.
