Instructions

Step 1
Rinse the rice in a bowl of water. Repeat the process 3 times.

Soak the rice for 30 minutes until its colour turns equally milky white. Stir the rice in between to ensure each grain of rice is evenly soaked.
Step 3
Drain the water from the bowl.
Step 4
Cook the rice by measuring a 1:1 ratio of water to rice.

Once the rice is cooked, keep warm in the rice cooker. Allow it to simmer for another 15 minutes to ensure the rice at the bottom is less moist.
Step 6
Fluff the rice evenly and it is ready to serve.
