This is my first jerky recipe that I came up with myself. I was working on a base for a "Sweet Heat" jerky and came up with this. Everyone says that it's their favorite of all the different jerkys I've made.

Step 1
Mix together everything except the meat. Add to the meat and mix thoroughly, if you think that you mixed it enough, mix it for another minute.
Step 2
Dry in your dehydrator at 165 for about 3 hours or until it's dry but still flexible. .
Step 3
A lot of people will have an issue with using curing salt, but you are going have this meat in the food safety danger zone, so the antimicrobial effects of the curing salt is a food safety necessity
