Crockpot Chili and Cornbread

Instructions

Step 1
In a pan, cook 1lb of ground beef, half a chopped white onion, and chopped green peppers.

Step 2
When these are cooked, add them to a crockpot and season with chili seasoning.

Next, add 1 can of drained kidney beans and a can of drained black beans.

Add in chopped green chili’s, 2 cans of diced tomatoes (not drained) and 1 can of tomato sauce.

Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
Step 6
Once it’s cooked for 2 hours, mix up the ingredients in the crockpot well, sprinkle cheddar cheese and then top that with the cornbread mixture.

Cook on high for another 4 hours.
Step 8
I like to serve with sour cream or Greek yogurt, shredded cheese, and green onion.
