Crockpot Bacon Cheddar Mashed Potatoes

Instructions

Step 1
Combine the potatoes and water in a slow cooker, and dot with the butter. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or on high for 3 hours, until the potatoes are tender.
Step 2
Once the potatoes are tender, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Using an electric mixer, whip the potatoes at medium speed until well blended. Add the milk, salt, and pepper, and whip again until well blended.
Step 3
Stir in the green onions, cheese, and bacon bits. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to blend and the cheese to melt.
Step 4
Serve and enjoy!
